IPMWORKS mentioned in the Finnish NAP III as an example of making innovations available to farms and in cooperation with farms
The Finnish National Action Plan on Sustainable Plant Protection III has been published. This third Finnish National Action Plan (NAP III) covers the period 2023–2027, and it aims is to reduce the risks to human health and the environment arising from the use of plant protection products and to guide users to adopt methods of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) in plant protection.
Finnish NAP III objectives:
- Reducing the risks and impacts on human health and the environment arising from the use of PPPs by implementing measures set out in this Action Plan.
- Promoting market access of low-risk PPPs so that harmful PPPs can be replaced with less harmful ones.
